1939-1947 Mercury/Ford Rear Axle in Tuxford, Saskatchewan for sale

Rear Axle from my 1947 Mercury 1 Ton. I utilized this axle for 2 years with a Ford 390 Big Block and C6 Transmission. It proved strong, but I wanted a little lower RPM for highway travel. I've travelled about 750km on this rear axle with no problems. I rebuilt rear axle with new slave cylinders, brake shoes, brake lines, axle seals, etc. I have rebuilt seal kit as well. I didn't split rear end pumpkin, so it still leaks a small bit, but could be opened easily and provided new seals installed. Gear Ratio is 4.11 to 1 which meant with original 36" tires cruising at 65mph was about 3300 RPM. I switched to a 9" Ford rear end, so I have this axle available to anyone rebuilding an old Ford/Merc. I also have included original 1950's repair manual which is very helpful. TEXT to for information
